In the second quarter of 2024, the Maps and Navigation app category in Nigeria saw notable performance from five key players. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into their weekly downloads and active user trends.

Phone Tracker and GPS Location from Gentii Studio experienced a fluctuating yet generally upward trend in weekly downloads. Starting at around 24.4K in early April, downloads peaked at 35.1K in mid-June before settling at 24.7K by the end of the quarter. Active users also grew steadily, from 477.9K to a high of 555.3K mid-June, ending the quarter at 493.8K.

inDrive. Save on city rides by ® SUOL INNOVATIONS LTD showed a consistent download rate, starting at 29.2K and peaking at 39.3K by the end of June. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 258.5K and reaching 300.7K by the end of the quarter.
